Connecticut Outdoors, LLC offers several different lines of kayaks, canoes, and paddle sport accessories. We are located in the historic “Old Pin Shop†building in Oakville, CT. We passed on the glamour of a storefront for the functionality and cost-savings of warehouse space so that we can pass the savings on to our customers.
We offer the largest and most diverse inventory in the area including Jackson Kayaks, Wilderness Systems, Old Town, Current Designs, Mad River, Radisson, Freedom Hawk, KC Kayaks, Dagger, Perception, Stohlquist, Harmony, Paddleboy and Thule. Browsing is always welcome — or just stop by and say hi!
We, as most do, believe in giving back to the community. We have, and plan to continue to, participated in several charitable organizations’ activities. Among them are: The American Cancer Society – Relay for Life, Charlotte Hungerford Hospital’s Tour of the Litchfield Hills, Connecticut Breast Care Initiative’s Pink Ribbon Ride (I was proud to be the 3rd largest fund raiser for that event in 2006), the Rick Moisan Memorial Scholarship Fund “Ride For Rick†(which also benefits CT Hospice and Cooper’s Troopers), The Boy Scouts of America Mad River District & Troop 140, The Make -A-Wish Foundation, and the continued clean-up efforts of the Naugatuck River.
